Excellent! Great food and even better service. Shrimp and grits were the best I have ever had at server's recommendation. Will come here every time I am in town.

A friend who lives in the area took us there for dinner on a Tuesday evening. We were warmly greeted and seated. The waiter was friendly and helpful. The wine served my wife and our friend was just perfect. None for me the driver. My wife and our friend had the special catch of the day which they both enjoyed and noted it was very tasty. I had the griddled sea scallops. The scallops were done to perfection. The presentation of the dinners was outstanding. I did not give five stars because the prices are a bit on the high side. We will return.

Great fresh food & a good selection of wines by the glass. Had a nice lunch as I was passing through Destin.

Don't judge this place by it's odd location. Once you walk through the door it is quite trendy. I have enjoyed many of my experiences here though as is often the case here in Destin it can be inconsistent. Parking can also be terrible, the parking lot is very small and shared with a few undesirable eateries like Burger King. My last service experience was odd. For lunch, I order a half salad to start and a pizzette. I eat my salad and my pizzette shows up and it includes a salad on the side. I tell the server "wish I knew my lunch came with a salad, I wouldn't have ordered one" she responds well it has a different cheese on it. WHAT?! Like I said it is inconsistent in food and service. Overall though I recommend you give it a shot, it is a locally owned restaurant and quite popular with the locals. Also, a very nice wine selection.

The staff here is very friendly! The Tuna Poke was fresh and fantastic! My husband had the ribeye which was fantastic! We all had the chicken soup which was homemade and fresh. Everything was amazing!

Hands down THE best food in Destin. Been here on a regular basis and always impressed. The two that run this place are truly exceptional hosts and the ever evolving creative foodie menu is incredible. You must try the oyster BLT and whatever their daily feature is. You will come back again and again!

Great meal! Great staff! Great atmosphere!!! Very knowledgable, and just fun people. They help you understand and enjoy wine, without an ounce of pretentiousness or loss of hospitality. Cannot wait to go again. It will be the first place we go in Destin from now on.

Great atmosphere located in a strip mall. Don't let that fool you . The insides are a very trendy wine bar. Great food, pick your wine from the shelf and very reasonably priced Food expensive but well worth it. Will definitely go back.....

Excellent service and food. I remarked it was chilly when I walked in and a waitress brought over a shawl for me to wear. Our table had the scallops, the tuna poke, the Cesar salad, the catch of the day (Mahi Mahi) and the seared tuna. All were amazing and paired wonderfully with whatever sides accompanied them. They were attentive and attended to all our needs. Will definitely return again.

Lucked out. Came over here to be with a friend at the hospital in Miramar, found a room for the night, and discovered this place by accident, hiding in between a Subway and Burger King. The pate appetizer/dinner was wonderful, service was outstanding, and an excellent wine was recommended by the owner. Wow! The wine selection is amazing, the service is friendly but still very professional, and the atmosphere is very trendy. What a fun place to"discover". Might go back tomorrow for lunch!

The Oyster BLT is the signature dish for a reason. It comes in a flat bread. It has a wonderful taste. The bacon is crispy and the oysters are plentiful. My wife had the fish of the day. It was juicy and not fishy. I shall is it again.

My parents are obsessed with this restaurant. As a child, every time we visited Destin for family vacation there was no doubt we would be stopping at Vin'tij. I would usually take my little brother and go get something from Burger King next door, but this time I joined the big kids table and actually ordered something from Vin'tij. We started with the bread basket with olive oil, peppers, garlic, and cheese. I recommend definitely not getting this if you are getting an entree. It was so amazing I wasn't hungry at all for my meal. You basically build your bread to be perfect for you! I loved it. I wish I could have it right now. For my "meal" ( the bread was really my meal), I had the salmon. The two bites I had of this were really great! Overall, this place is amazing, and I can't believe I've been missing out for so long! My dad told me to say that he highly recommends the Oyster BLT!

If you like intimate wine bars that offer excellent food, a wide variety of wines, exceptional service and major ambiance then you will love Vin'tij Wine Boutique & Bistro. Just because they are in a strip mall next to a burger joint you might think this isn't a nice place for a romantic dinner or a really good glass of wine. This is one of those situations where the expression "don't judge a book by its cover" would apply. Trust me on this! The decor in this place was so adorable that I enjoyed just sipping on my wine flight looking around. I enjoyed the Pinot Noir wine flight with the Yellowfin Tuna. It was utterly delightful. My husband enjoyed the Big Fruit Varietal Reds flight with the Masala Roast Pork Tenderloin which he enjoyed immensely. We indulged in the Sautéed Strawberries & Lemon Pound Cake served warm with Cinnamon Ice Cream for dessert. LOVED IT! The most interesting thing about this wine boutique is the wine shop selection. I was extremely surprised by the selection and the number of EXPENSIVE wines for sale on their shelves. They had a Kongsgaard Cabernet Sauvignon for $400. While I was vacationing in Destin when I visited Vin'tij Wine Boutique and Bistro, we loved the area so much that we are definitely coming back again. Next time we are back in Destin we are gonna be kickin' it at Vin'tij!

So I stopped by Vin'tij last night for dessert with Tim S after he finished his late work session -- chose this place mostly because it was a convenient walk to the hotel on a cold and windy (ok, for Florida) night. Turned out to be good fortune! Our luck continued as we were warmly welcomed and seated by Janet V, who as it turns out is the manager. Remembering that we'd mentioned we were only looking for dessert, Janet made some great recommendations: cinnamon pound cake, check; deep dish pecan pie, check; coffee, check, water, check (ironically neither of us is a wine drinker). Desserts proved Janet to be as truthful as she is personable -- both excellent, but especially the home-made cinnamon ice cream on top was a great twist. The desserts and coffee were all-around terrific. Service -- what can I say? It's a difficult thing for restaurant staff to be friendly and conversational when customers want to engage without being intrusive when they don't, but Janet and the wait staff tread that line brilliantly, while making it look and feel effortless. We left feeling like we'd been to visit close neighbors for dessert. Neighbors with a really cool house. And a great chef. Ambiance is great for a comfortable smooth-jazz kinda night out. Go. And give my best to Janet, please.

Hands down one of the best places to eat in Destin. We've been largely disappointed with food fare in Destin, which consists mostly of tasteless and bland food for the geriatrics or fresh seafood which is then invariably fried. Ate here twice on my most recent trip and enjoyed each meal. As others have said it looks unassuming from the outside, but inside the decor is cozy and romantic-like. Food is phenomenal - had the pork and the cheese plate, which were both excellent. Cheese plate was especially special, as it was substantial, the candied pecans scattered throughout were tasty little burst of flavor and complemented the three cheeses well. Both the bleu and goat cheese were mild enough and balanced by flavors like the truffle oil to be really appealing folks who aren't crazy into strong cheeses. Both the pecan pie and strawberry cake desserts were awesome too - but I'd go with the pecan pie. Tastes like no pecan pie you've ever had. Service was without fault and all the wines we were suggested were excellent.

Dined here during spring break with a group of 8 adults. The interior is classy and welcoming with a huge wine selection of bottles you can purchase (pricey from what I could see), a bar, and an intimately sized dining area. I did not choose this location as I am not a wine drinker, but the reviews were excellent and I'm always game to try new places. I wasn't sure if there would be more than wine to choose from for beverages but alas, it is beer and wine only. The service was outstanding, and our waiter very knowledgeable and friendly. I ordered the soup of the day, a chicken lentil stew, which was unlike anything I've tasted before. It was only lukewarm but it was tasty in a unique sort of way. For my meal, I had the shrimp and grits which were excellent. The grits were so creamy, I was fishing around the items on top to get to them. The shrimp and sausage were very good as well though. Hub started with a Caesar chop salad that was really good with homemade dressing. He had the tuna poke as an entree which he said was good but didn't rave about. All in all, a good dining experience but not a place I'd run back to since I'm not a wine connoisseur. If you are, you'll love this place.

This is our first time here and we've been coming to Destin. The atmosphere the food, it's just perfect. Be sure to ask for Aline to serve you. She did a great job

Visited here while on a fishing trip. Although they said they couldn't seat us, they did. The place was on a slight wait but it was a Friday. We were causal but there were more formal dressers there as well. The wine selection was top notch, the beer, not so much. Service was outstanding. I had shrimp and grits for appetizer and yellowfin tuna for the main. The yellowfin was the best I've ever had, as were the grits. 5 stars, will come back.

We came for lunch in a Sunday . As another review said, the parking lot is hard to maneuver . But once we got in we found a place to park. The place is nicely done with art work and a huge wine selection. Unfortunately it was a bit early for us so we just had water and tea. The food and service were great ! Well... Except I didn't care for the watermelon gazpacho . There was something in it that reminded us of India...when I asked what that spice was I was told cayenne ...nope that's not it. But then came the entrees ! Yummy! We had 4 in our party ,We tried the shrimp and grits, pecan crusted chicken, and the oyster bLt . Everything was great! We plan to return for dessert and wine some evening

  • Tim E.

Absolutely fabulous. From the wine flight selection, the apps, the mains and the desserts - couldn't go wrong. The blend of flavors in every bite make this place tops on my list in any city. The cornmeal oysters app is fantastic - served on thin bread with a spinach spread and pickled red onions - wow! Flavor explosion. I had the catch of the day - grouper which was cooked to perfection. My wife had the ribeye which was slightly overcooked, but the blend of flavors was nothing short of perfection. Desert can't be missed - especially the sauted strawberries with pound cake and homemade cinnamon ice cream - yummy! I had it with a nice port. Very happy with our first visit - we will be back!

Don't let the "strip mall" location deter you. Once inside, it's a lovely appointed restaurant with a wine boutique as a bonus. First, the bread service was very good. Fresh and tasty, but don't fill up there. Next, we ordered the cheese plate and Tuna Poke appetizers. The tuna poke was really good. The cheese plate with fresh fruit was amazingly great. Full of so many different flavors. We split our entree, thankfully, because we were already stuffed. The entree was the special gulf fish, sheep head. Quite delicious, it was prepared pan sautéed with a light crust over basmati rice & lima beans. So light and fluffy with such a wonderful flavor. The service was perfect and wonderful, made great recommendations. Last but not least, the wine. We had several tasting samples but found an impressive white chardonnay that we couldn't resist purchasing a bottle to take home and another red for a friend's gift. Great selection of wines for pairing, they make it easy to choose as they have it all paired out on the menu. And a wonderful selection in their wine boutique for purchase. I'm from New Orleans, so it was wonderful to find a restaurant of this caliber in Destin, I'm really excited about!

My gosh! In a relaxed, welcoming environment my girlfriend & I got full on the most delicious meal I've eaten in the Destin area. Between the two of us we ate through what seemed like most of the menu and enjoyed every single bite. The waitress was attentive without being pushy. The interior of the restaurant looks nothing like you would expect from its strip mall exterior. But here's the best part...flights of wine. Good, hearty glasses of fancy tastings of wine at such a low price. It's awesome. Go there.

My girlfriends and I had lunch here & wanted to make it back for dinner, too! It was that good!! Warm, friendly welcome from staff & Danny , our server, connected w/us immediately. The recommended selections were delicious....oyster blt, pasta, pizza, crab cakes. Don't hesitate , go here!!

This 5-star review makes me reconsider my other 5 star reviews, because this was so much better. Danny was a one-of-a-kind server, someone who takes absolute pride in his job and seems to actually take pleasure in making recommendations and steering the menu. We had a hodge-podge of things, and all were unbelievably fantastic--on par, if not better, than the enthusiastic descriptions given by Danny. The oyster BLT is stupid good--not remotely fishy, great mix of textures, and unbelievably fresh. Wow. The watermelon gazpacho was the best gazpacho I've ever had--not sweet like you might think, but an incredible mix of flavors. This is the place to share food, because you'll want to taste yours and everyone else's. Come hungry--the portions are surprisingly big, and Danny will not let you leave hungry. I honestly think he'd take it personally if you left anything but completely full and satisfied. The dessert were amazing. The decor is bizarre but interesting, the food came out quickly, and again Danny was a perfect pre-lunch entertainer. I can't say enough good things about this place. It was the best lunch I've had since I can remember. Don't let the strip mall location deter you. This place rocks.

What a happy surprise in the middle of Destin?! I love that you get to walk around and pick your bottle of wine with dinner. Food was delish. Highly recommend it. Super cozy spot too so it takes the fuss out of it (but pricey are not unfussy...be ready to drop some $$).

  • Cest L.

Had lunch there today. It was ok. For their wine selection along with the available options (flight, tasting, by the glass or bottle) I give them 5 stars. Their wine prices were very reasonable. As for the food, that was kind of a different story. We started with 2 appetizers, marinated olives and the blue cheese tart. The marinated olives were disappointing in that there were around 10 olives and tons of peppers. The tart was good but i felt that it needed something else besides the grapes, maybe some roasted garlic or caramelized onions? I had the salad special which was good and my date had the pasta special which had a nice flavor also. Nothing really spectacular. Maybe dinner would have been better?

Wow. Visitor here but had a small lunch party. Ordered the pizzas for dessert. Cooked perfectly. I had the salmon. Mmmmmmmm. So so so good. Service was reasonable and he food fresh and outstanding.

The best restaurant we visited by far on my recent trip to Florida. All of the food excellent including the cornmeal crusted oyster appetizer and grilled local fish special. Excellent wine selection at very reasonable prices or bring your own for $10 corkage. Service was timely and friendly. Don't miss it.

Why does this place get rated so high? Mediocre cheese plate with some grapes that had turned, boring steak drowning in a homemade worcestershire to distract from the lousy cut of meat that was supposedly a ribeye. I didn't even finish half, it was so hard to eat, and I didn't want to take it home. Also knee deep in the worchestershire was a bit of onioin and a hit of portabella... The garlic mashed potatoes were heavy, dense, and unimaginative. Just... BORING. TINY portion of truffled spinach- and nothing to write home about there. My date didn't like his crabcakes- and the wine... Well.. we wanted a Beaujolais, but they didn't have one, so we were shown something similar (it was a warm humid night so a lighter wine sounded fantastic) and I don't think we could have been given a more tannic wine. (omg, I went here last weekend, i think its still in my trunk!) The place is charming with art work, and chalk boards with the daily specials (mostly seafood), and the waitstaff is friendly and attentive. It seems that people do really like this place, but for me, its a no. I actually went home cooked myself dinner afterward.

Very cozy atmosphere. Perfect for deserts and wine--obviously. The sommelier is very knowledgeable. check them out, I doubt that you'll have a bad time :)

Great food and awesome atmosphere. Don't let the cover of the book influence you, once you walk in you will forget that it shares a wall with subway. Get the blue cheese tart with a glass of Shane's "the charm" Pinot.

Really good food. Lovely atmosphere. The pasta was so fresh. The vegetables were firm not mushy. Great job! Definite place to dine well.

Located in a strip mall and unassuming from the outside, but this is a great little place with a great concept. You can shop for wine and then bring it with to the dining area. You can purchase it at retail prices (i.e. not inflated restaurant prices) and for a small corking fee, enjoy it with your meal. They also have an extensive wines by the glass menu. For dinner, we shared the tuna poke, which was good. Think tuna tartare - pretty standard. I had the catch of the day which was grouper - nice preparation using chipotle peppers. My companion had the mango roasted Atlantic salmon - he practically licked the plate clean. Incredibly savory dish. While this place is on the outskirts of Destin -- it is well worth the 10 minute drive. As we were told...its where the locals dine!

Vintij is a true gem on the Emerald Coast in every sense of the word. Located across the street from the Silver Sands Outlets in Miramar Beach, it truly is centrally located for all 30 A'ers and those closer to East Pass in Destin. Open for lunch and dinner you will be wowed by the decor, the quality and efficient yet camaraderie style of service. The wine selection on the list changes often and is very eclectic. If there is a choice there that does not pique your interest; stroll through the retail selections, vast, and choose from there. For lunch, the specials are always a hit. But my favorite seems to be the oyster BLT! Pan fried oysters with greens and applewood smoked bacon and Brie cheese on Texas Toast! YUM. Same tune for dinner and the specials... Here my favorite is the CAB Ribeye with house made Worcestershire sauce. Along with perfectly sautéed and slightly caramelized onions and portabella mushrooms. House made desserts, including ice cream, are exquisite as well. The owners, Todd and Chef John, are a cut above the rest and their staff only accentuate all the qualities you hope you see/experience every time you dine out. At Vintij, you truly are not just going out to dinner, but you feel as if you are always invited over for dinner! Bon Appetit and enjoy!

Amazing shrimp and grits and oyster BLT. Also: flourless chocolate cake with homemade cinnamon and peanut butter ice cream. Get the wine flight, too. The bread is great too!

  • Derek R.

Decided to try this for lunch after checking out some of the reviews and it did not disappoint. From the outside, it doesn't look like much. Situated in a strip mall in Miramar Beach. However once you get inside, you are transported into a funky, FL wine bar and bistro! The decor is interesting, colorful and fun. Stained glass windows and local art abound. I'd recommend getting one of the daily specials. My wife had the grouper over grits and it was deliciouso! I tried the crab cakes off of the menu and they were good, but not great. The atmosphere is really nice. It's tucked away in a small strip mall so it's not packed with kids and tourists. Cozy and warm. The wait staff is very attentive, helpful and engaging. As for the desserts, get the deep dish pecan pie with homemade cinnamon ice cream! SERIOUSLY you must try it! It is killer! Overall this is a great place! Great food, service and atmosphere. Needless to say we'll be coming back... Next time for dinner and drinks. ;)

There now. Have frequented when in area. We love it. Great food. Fresh fish and shrimp especially good. Service great. Shrimp and grits for lunch great and reasonable price.

Great neighborhood bistro and wine shop. We enjoyed a sautéed local fish with local fresh tomatoes at lunch. The waiter recommended a French rose which complemented the entree (and it wasn't the priciest glass on the list, either). They also adjusted the preparation to fit some special dietary needs. We will definitely return.

Lunch was incredible plus they had a nice by the glass wine selection. Also their wine shop has some amazing wine selections. A must visit if you're in this area!

I came here with my boyfriend and his family whom we were visiting in Pensacola. Always great to have the locals show you all the best places in town. This place is adorable... they have all this art decorating the place and an adjacent retail area where you can purchase bottles of wine as that is their forte. The food is great! I had the blue cheese, grape, and walnut tart with a wine crust and it was incredible. One member of our party had the flounder special and reported it was delicious, one had the chicken plate with grits that were so tasty they seemed more like mashed potatoes, I had the spaghetti/pasta plate which was delicious, and they split it for me and my boyfriend since we always share. I also had the wild green salad which was delicious and the only thing I could finish since we also split a chicken sandwich. We ordered way too much food as the spaghetti was quite plentiful. I deducted one star because the waiter guy had a bit of an attitude. It soon softened but mostly only because we are very nice people. Some may have asked some "unsophisticated questions" that caused him to be a bit condescending and look down on us, so if you happen to like that kind of treatment then he is the server for you! But in conclusion, I say the food is phenomenal and not to be missed if you visit Destin

Most Americans love their boring restaurant chains. Vintij is locally owned and operated and a welcome change from the normal banal establishments. Chef John is talented. The food and wine is creative and superior. Todd and Brian will welcome you with at the door with their kind and humorous demeanor. The wine dinners are exquisite and fun. You always meet like-minded people at Vintij. You can sit at the bar for some wine and an appetizer or bring friends for a dinner experience. The atmosphere rocks. Vintij is decorated with artwork and design in a creative aesthetic by Sabrina. It's hard to leave Vintij. Don't be fooled by the strip mall location. You will forget about that the minute you walk in the door. Locals and tourists love Vintij and keep coming back. Vintij truly cares about the quality of the experience you will receive and they show that they care about you.

I'm a local and have lunch there at least once a week. They have great specials and the prices are great for the quality. The fish and soup of the day are usually my favorites. The smoked turkey sandwich is also great. Highly recommend.

  • Michael S.

Excellent every time. You must try the shrimp and grits. There is nothing better. Did I mention you should try the shrimp and grits?!!! Have you had the shrimp and grits yet?!!?? MMMMMMMM -I can't wait to go back to Destin to eat at this place!

  • K S.

You can choose your wine from the shelves, which is nice but I would also love to see them on a list. I enjoyed putting together my own flight out of their various tasters available. The bottle prices seemed fair. Fried oysters were very good and loved the Tuna Poke. Salad was nice and the catch of the day was very good. Had a cheese course that was good but a bit blah, nothing out of the ordinary. Service was attentive but casual, so perfect! This is the best food I've had in Northwest Florida in terms of a 'nice' dinner. The food is elevated and refined more so than any other restaurants I've been to in the area. With tip dinner for two was $178 but at least $65 of that was wine due to several tasters. I would definitely return.

Vintij is one of my favorite restaurants anywhere in the world. The intimate dining room is decorated with art by local artists. The inviting bar offers a convivial spot for a spontaneous meal or drink. The wine boutique features wines from around the world. I love to order a wine flight with my meal and sample wines I may not already know. The food Chef Louis sends out from the kitchen is fresh, creative, and features local produce, both of the land and from the sea. Most of the time, I simply order straight from the daily specials. His soups are mind-boggling in their complexity -- rich and flavorful in every season. I have eaten a few items from his fixed menu over the last few years, and they are stellar. His crab cakes are simply the best, as is his bolognese. Periodically, especially in the "off season," Vintij hosts special dinners that feature winemakers and their wines. You can check the calendar on the Vintij website or sign up for email notices to find out about these events. The prices for the dishes at Vintij are actually on the low side of prices at comparable restaurants in the Destin area, which is admittedly a more expensive location than some places. However, you definitely get great value for superb food and service at Vintij. Can't wait to go back!

  • Chris I.

I must agree with Kat. S. the ambience is good but the food is absolutely not. The catch of the day could have been great but like other dishes they are overdone with toppings and failing attempts to be fancy. Good food is not accomplished with more ingredients but rather with fewer. If you are not a local you will feel left out at this restaurant

Great for lunch or dinner. The oyster BLT is to die for. Crab Cakes and Salmon are also great. Wine Flights are part of the menu so you can do a great tasting with your meal.

The tuna last night was by far the absolutely best tuna meal EVER. The watermelon salsa complemented by the black beans WOW. The wine they chose for us went over and above hays off to the staff our waiter matched the meal and wine. We will be back but wish we lived closer to enjoy more often.

Totally a fan of Vin'tij and have been for years! Very consistent and dependable. They were super busy when we went this time and they were able to move some people around at the bar to seat 5 of us. Friendly service. Good food all around. If I had to give a con, it is the Caesar salad. I'm not so much a fan of wedge salads and that's what this is. Seriously...I'm just nit picking at this point.

"This might be my new favorite place to dine," said the husband at the table next to us, speaking to the waiter. We only ordered desserts, but tasted what he professed. The large, round pecans in the Deep Dish Pecan Pie were a dessert unto themselves. The homemade cinnamon ice cream made me wonder why more restaurants don't make their own ice cream and dance with different flavors. The sauteed strawberries over lemon pound cake showed me a new way to experience strawberries, but I'm still more comfortable keeping them out of the pan.

Dined at Vin'tij with friends on Thursday evening, September 10. Wine was great. Ambiance was cozy. Food was great with presentation being exemplary. Danny, our server, was exceptional. Desserts are usually just a fond memory these days; however , Danny started the list off with the deep dish pecan pie with cinnamon ice cream. He went down the list of choices but the pie was his all time recommendation. We ordered a slice for the table. Danny said we would not be disappointed and I told him that if the pecan pie did not live up to his ravings I would have to give him and the restaurant a bad review on Yelp. One ample ample slice of pie ala mode later and a foursome who fought over it, here is the Yelp review Vin'tij well deserves. Danny speaks the truth about the menu. Thanks Danny and Vin'tij for a nice evening.

The food, service and ambience is exceptional. The oyster Bly was great, they are open to modifications (I only eat seafood so got it w/o the bacon) and the catch of the day was top notch. I wish my belly was bigger, I wanted to eat everything here.

So here's the deal... Vegan vegetable Romanesco- good Wife's ribeye over blue cheese polenta- awesome (and cooked perfectly medium as requested.) Wine flight experience, really cool and unique. Flighted wines- just fine, if a tad in the low end Service- quick, attentive, but slightly inaccurate. (Be careful if you have food restrictions) The service is the reason i'l don't give it 5 stars. We'll come back.

Totally a fan! This place is simply divine and NEVER disappoints. The menu and wine choices change to keep things new and fresh. I've come here for at least 10-12 years when visiting Destin and can ALWAYS depend on the cuisine. If you're a foodie with a wine fetish --make it happen! Hey New Orleanians, they'll even let you cap your unfinished bottle and take it home!

Really lovely spot. Don't let the strip center facade fool you, these guys know wine. This is not the place to find boring standards you'd normally see at the grocery store. Instead, this is the place to find a refreshingly unique wine list, personally cared for details to the menu, and genuine people. After a terrible experience at a gastropub down the street, my husband and I stumbled into Vintij - without a reservation. Not to worry, there was room at the bar and a friendly owner in a cheerful mood who didn't mind mixing up some custom flights for us. I wanted both Albariño and Barolo, and he made it happen with pleasure. He also recommended a wonderful Spanish red (not a typical Tempranillo) with the smoothness of an old-world Cote du Rhone and friendliness of a Malbec. Wonderful! For food, we enjoyed the tuna appetizer that was light and dressed to perfection. My non-GF husband also enjoyed the fresh baked bread and house-infused cumin chili oil. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and would highly recommend this place. In fact, sit at the bar even if they do have a table. Such a warm welcome you just can't miss it. Only reason I left off the final star was not much is GF, but everything else totally makes up for it!!

This was one of the BEST meals we have had in Destin yet! We started with wine flights. I had the Pinot noir flight 6 and my husband had the Cabernet flight #4. I loved three of my wines and he loved all four of his! Next, we ordered salads and a small plate to share. I had the Raspberry Wild greens which was awesome and my husband loved his Caesar salad!! Great choices. The small plate we ordered was the Cornmeal pan fried oysters on a spinach crostini with picketed red onion. Soooo good!!! Onward we went to entrees. I chose the chargrilled angus ribeye over house smoked blue cheese and Parmesan polenta---medium temp was a touch too done. Should have stayed at med rare! Very good tho!! He ordered the Masala roast pork tenderloin over chipotle Lima bean chili and pineapple salsa--ate every bite and wanted bread to sop it up! (He also helped me eat the large ribeye!) we were full but not bloated and finished off with a single scoop of their home made cinnamon ice cream--so good and creamy! Excellent restaurant!!! We are new fans!!

Great food and great staff. I went to dinner with my family tonight. I got the Chargrilled Angus Ribeye and it was unbelievable. I have never had a steak that was so full of flavor at a restaurant before. It was $32 but it was a big steak and they also gave you the perfect amount of Polenta to complement the steak. Not big wine drinkers but if you are they have a great selection. I will definitely be coming back! Thanks

This is my go to place with company. Every item on the menu is always fantastic and the food is always paired nicely with wines. It's a smaller restaurant and can be a bit crowded so i would recommend reservations.

I can only comment/review on dessert. We were in search of the perfect comfort food (my son and I decided to have dessert for dinner on our last night of Christmas vacation in Destin) and I found several reviews for pecan pie here so we placed a to-go order earlier tonight. The restaurant is small and cozy looking, and the staff who greeted us (three individuals, separately) were all very friendly and helpful. I ordered their deep dish pecan pie and my son ordered the chocolate torte. Both were boxed to go with whipped cream and some other, richer sauce. The total for both was $19.00, which seemed a little pricey. I wasn't delighted by the pecan pie. I found it to be somewhat dry and I did not care for the crust, which I felt was lacking flavor throughout, dry around the edge and chewy at the bottom. I was really hoping for something southern-gooey-sweet, and this just wasn't. My son enjoyed the torte, but commented that he prefers chocolate cake.
